Mickey is currently accepting new students in the greater Columbia area.

Mickey is highly willing to teach general instruction on:
    Marimba/ Mallet instruments
    Drum set
    Snare Drum
    Timpani
    Accessory instruments
    Orchestral excerpts

He also specializes in:
College audition preparation
Drum Corps/ WGI audition preparations

Consulting

By contacting Mickey at least one month in advance, he will willingly travel to where your ensemble is located and assist in rehearsals.

Arranging/Composing

Mickey enjoys the hobby of arranging music for many different ensembles. He has experience writing for marching bands, indoor drum lines, woodwind quintets, and small brass ensembles. Mickey is always looking to expand his compositional palette and will gladly take on new ensembles and new arranging adventures.

Professional Engagment

Mickey is currently a full time band director at Trinity High School in Trinity, Texas. He started his position in January of 2013 and has gained the attention of the town. He is off to a very successful start and we are looking forward to the transformation of the Marching Band in the upcoming months.
